How to prepare Tomato soup

Ingredients:

  • Tomato 400 gm
  • 1 small Potato
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 small Carrot
  • 1 Cup Celery diced
  • Butter
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Making:

1) Keep ready potato, onion, carrot and Tomato chopped

2) In a pre heated pressure cooker add Onion, Potato, Carrot, Tomato, Celery, Butter and pepper gently stir and cook the whole ingredients until the mass become soft.

3) Now add water and salt and close the cooker lid and cook with high flame for 6min.

4) After cooking for 6 min remove cooker from the flame and keep aside for 5min to release the pressure.

5) Once done with a home blender, blend until it is smooth.

Optional: To thin the soup you may use chicken broth or milk or water for your desired thickness.

To thicken the soup you may use a slurry of floor and boil for couple of minutes.

6) Now Tomato soup is ready to be served in cups.
